TIGI CATWALK® Collective: Grunge/ Jill Stuart
/GRUNGE
Long, Tangled and Textured
Bob Recine and the TIGI International Creative Team created the grunge look backstage at the Jill Stuart show during New York Fashion Week. Think early ’90s, the Seattle music scene and Nirvana and you have grunge. For hair, it means long, unkempt and straggly. Texture is key–tangled, dishevelled and mussed up; this is morning after hair, not night before. This season, a more glamorous version of grunge ruled the runway and it’s achieved by using products to add texture and attitude.
