Teri Dougherty’s 2004 “Travels” Step-by-Steps

Sectioning procedure:
Divide the yellow sections by starting with the front triangle. Be sure all points touch.
Attach each point of the yellow sections to form the blue diamonds.

First, in the green section marked Medium apply desired medium color. Separate with foil.
Next, in the blue section, marked Dark apply desired darkest color. Separate with foil.
Final sections in yellow marked Light apply the lightest color.


Sectioning procedure:
Start with the blue section by dividing a flower like pattern on the top center of the head. No larger than an 1 1/2 inch wide.
Next, with the yellow section divide four large round flower likepetals, no larger than 2 inches wide.

Starting in the red section marked Medium apply the desired medium color scalp to ends.
Next, in the yellow sections marked Light, apply the desired lightest color.
Finally apply the desired darkest color on the blue section marked Dark.

Part a triangle section in the front top, separating the fringe with a zigzag parting.(orange section)
Next, take a diagonal elongated rectangle section across the top of the head, from temple to back of the crown. (yellow section)
Repeat on the other side. (red section)

Start in the blue section using the darkest desired color, apply scalp to ends. Separate with foil.
In the orange section apply a medium color.
Using a foil application on the section marked yellow slice back to back.
Repeat on the section marked red using a different color.
Finally touch up in-between each foil using the medium color.
