Turn the brush and use vertical strokes to blend the transition of the two tones. Isolate with Sweet Mèches. Section the hair for a clean, organized application. Begin approximately 1 inch back from the center back hairline and create a halo parting extending to just in front of the ears. Take a second halo parting a 1/2 inch behind this, extending to the ears. This is HALO SECTION 3.

Isolate into 3 subsections for control. Create another radial parting a 1/2 inch behind creating HALO SECTION 2.

Create HALO SECTION 1, one 1/2 section behind the last as a final section.

Begin by coloring the loose hair behind the halo sections. Take fine, diagonal back subsections in the bottom of the left side and apply formula 1 to the regrowth area. Push and paint the formula into the hair. This will ensure proper saturation and even color results. Try using your tail comb and color brush in tandem. Being efficient with your tools and developing professional habits can ensure speed of technique and set you apart.

Continue the application moving upward and complete this section. Once both back sections are complete apply Formula 2 to the mid-lengths and ends. Use a Sweet Mèches to protect the skin. Take fine diagonal sections apply color and work in thoroughly with your color brush. Complete this section and REPEAT on the opposite side.

Overdirect sections back and use the head as a surface to paint against. Allow the hair to remain flat against the head to ensure proper penetration. Isolate the back sections into Sweet Mèches Release the left subsection of HALO 1 using fine vertical sections apply formula 3 from the base of the hair through the ends. Saturate thoroughly and complete the sub section. Isolate with a Sweet Mèches strip. Complete HALO Section 1 by coloring the center and right subsections in the same manner.

Start HALO Section 2 in the left subsection. Take fine vertical slices, apply Formula 1 to the re-growth and Formula 3 to the mid lengths and ends. Complete the subsection. Then complete subsection 3 by coloring the front left and right subsections in the same manner. Proceed with the remaining loose hair in the front with Formula 2 at the re-growth area and Formula 3 on the mid-lengths and ends. Repeat on the opposite side. Work with fine sections and over direct away from the face. Process for a complete 35 min.

At the end of the full processing time, at the shampoo basin, add a small amount of warm water, and emulsify and rinse thoroughly. To help preserve, protect and add shine to color treated hair, perform a Powerdose Color Application after the INOA post-shampoo. First spray entire powerdose bottle on towel-dried hair, section by section. Leave on for up to 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly then dry and style as usual.
