Before beginning, be sure to cleanse your client’s hair using a Nioxin 3-Part System. You will be layering one product at a time onto towel-dried hair. This allows you to focus on certain areas that might have varying amounts of texture and require a different product solution to achieve the desired end result.

HOW-TO STEPS
-
1
Before beginning, be sure to cleanse your client’s hair using a Nioxin 3-Part System. You will be layering one product at a time onto towel-dried hair. This allows you to focus on certain areas that might have varying amounts of texture and require a different product solution to achieve the desired end result.

2
Begin by applying Diamax to the root area around the entire head. Comb the product through the midshaft and ends using a wide-tooth comb. Diamax with hair thickening extra fusion helps to increase the thickness of each existing hair strand for a fuller-looking head of hair.
-
3
Next, spray Therm Activ Protector evenly throughout the hair for heat protection. Therm Activ Protector with LightPlex Technology is a heat-activated spray that protects the hair against breakage.
-
4
Then apply Rejuvenating Elixir to the midlengths and ends by emulsifying the product in your hands. Rejuvenating Elixir with LightPlex Technology is a leave-in elixir that helps rejuvenate the hair’s texture so it is soft to the touch while leaving it with natural movement.
-
5
Next, layer Bodifying Foam from roots to ends. For even distribution, be sure to comb throughout the hair using a wide-tooth comb. Bodifying Foam with Pro-Thick Technology is a styling foam that provides hold and creates a fuller, thicker look while giving the hair manageable body.
-
6
Begin your blow-dry by removing 80 percent of the moisture using your fingers to create lift at the root area.
-
7
Section from the front of the ear to the top of the head on both sides.
-
8
Section the back of the head into four sections for control.
-
9
Begin your blow-dry at the front so that the client sees the immediate results of the product.
-
10
Using a soft round brush with medium heat and low tension and working with your sections, lift the hair up and away from the scalp to create a soft and smooth effect in the hair.
