Pastel and vibrant haircolor is making a big splash in today’s fashion and celebrity styles.  The Shock Factor Technique is an adaptable, practical approach to using Urban Shock on clients in your salon.

    Part off a rectangular section in the front fringe and a triangular section on the right side of the head.

    Prelighten sectioned hair with POWER BLONDE Lightening Powder.

    Squeeze a pea-sized amount of URBAN SHOCK color into a mixing bowl and gradually mix in ER Emergency Repair Conditioner to sheer out the URBAN SHOCK until desired pastel shade is achieved.

    Apply two slices of pastel URBAN SHOCK Color Craze, followed by a thin slice of vibrant URBAN SHOCK. Process for 15 minutes at room temperature or under a preheated dryer (allow for a 5-minute cool down).

    Base Color: Prelighten with POWER BLONDE Lightening Powder
    Toner: HIGH DEFINITION Color Gel – Creme Toner
    (1 3/4 oz 00 Clear Base, 1/4 oz 4BV, 1/8 oz 8G)
    Accent Color: URBAN SHOCK Color Craze (alternate slices)

    – 2 slices pastel pink
    – 1 thin slice vibrant pink

    Base Color: TRUE INTEGRITY Opalescent Colour Creme – Level 2 Neutral
    Accent Color: Prelighten with POWER BLONDE Lightening Powder
    URBAN SHOCK Color Craze (alternate slices)

    – 2 slices vibrant pink
    – 1 thin slice vibrant purple

    Shampoo and condition hair with Renewal Color Retention Shampoo and Conditioner or WHITE TEA Sulfate Free Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner.  Use caution when shampooing out Urban Shock Color Craze.
