  1 Create a horseshoe section that starts at the corner of the eyes and ends just below the crown. Start at the temple and take a diagonal back section that ends at the top, front of the ear and isolate. Repeat on the opposite side.

  Start at center back, take ¼” vertical sections and elevate 90° and point cut using a vertical finger angle. The length should be approximately 2”. Continue to work your way around the section using no over-direction.

  3 Unclip side sections. Comb into natural fall and “pinch and talk” to create softness and remove weight.

  4 Move to the top section and start at the front hairline. Take a 1” horizontal parting and comb straight down. Point cut length to eyebrows. This is your stationary guide. Continue to comb hair forward and point cut to the established guide. Continue cutting until the hair doesn’t reach the section.

  Separate top from bottom by creating a circular section on top of the head. The front of the circle sits back from the front hairline and extends to the back of the head. Clip the top out of the way.

  Isolate the longer pieces by creating small triangle sections on the sides.

  7 Apply Formula 1 to the hair remaining outside the circle and triangle sections. Direct the hair away from the face. Cover with foil when complete

  8 Move to the top and triangle sections. Apply Formula 2 from scalp to ends. Complete both sections. Process at room temperature for 35-45 minutes. Rinse and shampoo with Extreme. Dry the hair before continuing to Step 3.

  9 Separate into quadrants. Stand at the center of each quadrant and place 2-3 foils horizontally to your body position. Keep the foils above the round of the head to create interest on top. Apply Formula 3 from scalp to ends in each of the foils. Pro Tip: For a subtle look, take regular weaves and leave ½ -1” between foils. For a more dramatic look, use slices.

  10 Upon reaching the top, stand at the back and place 2-3 horizontal foils to complete the application. Process at room temperature for up to 50 minutes or until reaching a level 9. Rinse and shampoo with Extreme.

  11 On towel-dried hair, apply Formula 4 from scalp to ends. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rinse and shampoo with Color Extend. Follow with Redken Chemistry.

  12 Layer outshine 01 anti-frizz polishing milk and fabricate 03 heat-active texturizer on damp hair.
• 

  
  13 Blow-dry with a mini paddle brush, wrapping hair around the round of the head in a crisscross pattern to create minimal volume and a soft bevel to the hair. Option: Use a medium round brush for added volume and smoothness.

  14 Lightly mist the top layer of dry hair with wool shake 08 gel-slush texturizer. Blast-dry hair for added texture and movement.
