  In order to prep the hair for coloring and to build strength, begin with an Olaplex standalone treatment.

  Start by applying Formula A at the regrowth area throughout zone 2. Let this process for about 50 minutes. While this is processing, begin applying Formula B to the ends and regrowth area. Let this formula process for an additional 20 minutes or enough to bump the base and blow out the ends.

    L’Oréal Professionnel Infinie Platine 40-volume developer + ¼ oz. Olaplex

  • Formula B (prelighten):

    L’Oréal Professionnel Infinie Platine 9-volume developer 

  • Formula C (color):

    4 oz. PRAVANA VIVIDS Wild Orchid + 1 oz. PRAVANA VIVIDS Magenta + 1/8 oz. PRAVANA Violet

  • Formula D (color):

    1 oz. PRAVANA VIVIDS Magenta + 1 oz. PRAVANA VIVIDS Pink + 1 oz. PRAVANA NEONS Pink

  Rinse and shampoo–all the prelightening means no cutting corners here! Apply Pravana Silk Degrees to prepare for coloring and leave in for 10 minutes. Rinse and dry.

  From zone 1 to zone 2, begin applying Formula C. About halfway through zone 2, switch to Formula D and continue applying until you reach the ends. In order to get the desired, vibrant results, Sarah recommends generously saturating the hair with color along with enthusiastically hand blending and combing. Process for 50 minutes.

  After processing, it’s time to rinse very delicately! Do not let the purple runoff come into contact with the pink ends. Hold the ends while you rinse out the base.

  Apply Olaplex #2 for 10 minutes. Shampoo, condition and style.
