Red Carpet Glamour Styling How-Tos from FHI Heat


Shauky first dried the hair using an FHI Heat Hair Dryer. Once dry, he sprayed FHI Heat RUNWAY IQ Dry Spray evenly throughout the hair and then taking large sections, he used the new FHI Heat RUNWAY IQ Large Rapid Heat Hair Rollers which heat up in eight seconds. Shauky used the FHI Heat 1¼-inch PLATFORM Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron by twisting each section of hair in a spiral movement and spraying it with FHI Heat Rapid Effects Accelerating Style Shaping Spray.

This look was achieved with the FHI Heat Platform Styling Iron Series consisting of the 1¾-inch, 1¼-inch, 1-inch and 4/10-inch sizes. Shauky took alternating sized styling irons along with different sized sections of hair using a ribbon technique to create a multitude of free-flowing wave patterns. After the style was complete, Shauky applied FHI Heat Hair Veil Light Blonde Powder Hair Filler to the part area and dark blonde around the hairline to make the hair style appear fuller, richer and thicker hair.

This look was achieved by first shampooing the hair with FHI Heat Rapid Effects Accelerating Hydration Shampoo and Conditioning Balm which helps dry the hair up to 50 percent faster. After professionally sectioning the hair for drying, Shauky blow dried with the FHI Heat Nano Salon Pro 2000 taking each division and smoothing the hair straight with a medium round brush. When completely dry, he re-sectioned the hair for styling using the FHI Heat 1¾-inch PLATFORM Tourmaline Ceramic Professional Hairstyling Iron to create one-pass sleek smoothness while leaving the end straight.

He took “V” shaped sections to show no partings and wrapped the hair around the inside of the barrel. Shauky then finger brushed the style using FHI Heat Rapid Effects Style Shaping Spray.
