Paul Mitchell Pony Up For Fall Technique

Where will you see it this season? Ladies sipping on a great vintage at the local hip wine bar.
Who has been seen wearing it? “Grey’s Anatomy” actress, Sandra Oh.
Step 1:
Gather and pull hair over across middle of head to one side; use bobby pins down the middle of head to secure.

Step #2:
Once hair is firmly pinned, start to roll the rest of the hair into the center
Step #3:
Starting at the top, roll hair vertically into the center of the head covering the pins
Step #4:
Secure rolled hair with bobby pins

Step #5:
Keep rolling hair in until you reach the nape. Secure firmly in the nape and leave tail

Where will you see it this season? Fashionable and fancy free ladies perusing the fresh outdoor vegetable market or popping into the local Starbucks for a double latte. Who has been seen wearing it? Nicole Ritchie, Kate Hudson, Kate Bosworth.
Step #1:
Blow dry using Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam.
Step #2:
Use a large barrel curling iron and Paul Mitchell Express Style Worked Up™ hair spray. Lightly spray the hair and take 1 inch sections and add movement into the hair.
Step #3:
Make a side parting and pull the hair into the nape using your fingers.
Step #4:
Using a band, secure the ponytail once around and then on the second time bring the hair part way through.
Step #5:
Using bobby pins, pin random pieces to create a very undone look.
Step #6:
Finish with Paul Mitchell Express Style Hold Me Tight hair spray.
Step #7:
Option of adding headbands or scarf a la Nicole Ritchie for more of a retro look.

Step #1:
Apply Paul Mitchell Super Skinny® Serum to damp hair and blow dry hair straight using a Paul Mitchell 427 Paddle Brush.
Step #2:
Section the hair off from ear to ear and clip out of the way.
Step #3:
Pull the rest of the hair back into a low sleek and smooth ponytail at the base of the neck.
Step #4:
Use a comb to smooth in any fly-aways and spray with Paul Mitchell Express Style Hold Me Tight hair spray.
Step #5:
Smooth down front section and comb hair flat to the head and wrap the ends of the hair around the ponytail.
Step #6:
Smooth and spray with Paul Mitchell Express Style Hold Me Tight hair spray.

Step #1:
Blow dry with Paul Mitchell Super Skinny® Serum and the Paul Mitchell 427 Paddle Brush.
Step #2:
Take a small triangle section on top and add a little teasing to the top of the head to create some height.
Step #3:
Pull the hair back and to one side in a low ponytail leaving out the top triangle.
Step #4:
When the ponytail is secured with a band, lightly bring over the top section and wrap end of hair with band.
Step #5:
Pull out pieces to make this style look more worn in and loose.

Step #1:
Blow dry with Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam™.
Step #2:
Twist sides of hair back loosely and combine in a low loose ponytail, leaving out a few pieces around the face.
Step #3:
Wrap a piece of hair from the ponytail around the band and pin in place. Curl ponytail using a large barrel curling iron.
Step #4:
Finish by combing fly-aways and spray with new Paul Mitchell Express Style Hold MeTight™ hair spray.

Step #1:
Add 2-3 pumps of Paul Mitchell Quick Slip™ and power dry using fingers to add texture and movement into the hair.
Step #2:
When dry, lightly spray with Paul Mitchell Spray Wax™.
Step #3:
Gather all the hair in your fingers just below the crown, use your fingers to comb in.
Step #4:
Texturize pieces of hair within the ponytail.
