Modern Chignon

Two-time Northern Ireland Hairdresser of the Year winner Shane Bennett, who owns a salon in Hillsborough, NI, demonstrates how to create an updated version of the French Bun, step-by-step. This modified Classic Chignon is a great style idea  for clients who want to stand out at a special event.

Section front piece of the hair from the crown, brush forward and clip to hold.

Using an elastic band with two clips, pin one of the clips into the middle of the pony tail, twist the band around the pony tail and put the second clip into your pony tail to hold in place.
