HOW-TO STEPS

    1 Helene’s haircut will have a strong “A-line” perimeter with layers and texture through the interior.

    2 To begin, moistrepair Revival Crème is applied as a cutting lotion. This will allow the comb to glide through the hair and will add moisture.

    3 A side parting is taken from the front hairline to the crown.

    4 A central vertical parting is taken from the crown to the nape.

    5 Diagonal forward partings are taken from the center parting out to the middle of each ear.

    6 A pivoting section is taken from the parting. The section is distributed “T” to the part, elevated 45-degrees, and cut parallel to the part decreasing in length.

    7 Pivoting partings are continued. The hair is over-directed to the center guide, elevated 45-degrees, and cut parallel to the part decreasing in length.

    8 The final parting is completed in the same manner.

    10 flatout Straightening Crème is applied to the bottom section before blow-drying smooth and straighten the hair.

    28 1. Prepare hair with moistrepair Shampoo and Leave-In Conditioner for moisture and manageability.
    2. For a straight, smooth style and quicker blow drying time, apply a liberal amount of flatout Straightening Crème from the roots to the ends and comb through for an even application.
    3. Begin blow drying at the nape area section by section, using a boar bristle brush and working your way to the front until the hair is completely dry.
    4. Straighten hair with an iron, spraying flatout Hot Pressed Spray on each section before using the iron for heat protection and medium hold.
    5. Spray hair with flatout Anti-Humidity Seal to seal style and repel moisture.

    29 1. Prepare hair with moistrepair Shampoo and Conditioner for moisture and manageability.
    2. Apply addvolume Blow Dry Lotion for volume; blow dry hair using a round brush until hair is completely dry.
    3. Set hair in rollers, spraying each section with curlup Hot Spiral Spray for heat protection and medium hold.
    4. Remove rollers and allow hair to cool. Brush hair out and begin to pin hair up randomly, intertwining curls.
    5. Spray final style with hairstay Quick Finish Spray or hairstay Maximum Hold Spray for a firm hold with shine.

    30 1. Prepare hair with hairplay Texture Shampoo for creative styling.
    2. Liberally spray hairplay Sea Salt Spray throughout towel-dried hair for enhanced texture.
    3. Blow dry hair until completely dry. Allow to dry naturally; do not brush.
    4. Part hair from recession hairline to the crown.
    5. Pull the back section of hair to one side and secure with pins.
    6. Sweep front section over to opposite side and spray with hairstay Medium Hold Spray.
    7. Spray the hair with hairplay Dry Wax, lifting hair out and up, spray from the underneath for an undressed style and a matte finish.
