First, apply amika Blockade Heat Defense Serum all over to smooth and tame frizz. Then, spray the brush with amika Fluxus Hairspray and smooth hair back into a ponytail.

Use a hair bungee to secure the ponytail.

Prep ponytail with amika Shield Anti-Humidity Spray.

Use the amika Chameleon 19mm barrel to curl the ponytail. Curl all sections of the ponytail in the same direction using a flat-twist technique.

For added shine, apply the Blockade Heat Defense Serum around all part lines, then use amika Headstrong Hairspray with a tail comb to lock down any loose hairs/flyaways.

Then, gently press the serum into the waves before brushing them out.

Take a small piece of hair from under the ponytail and wrap it around the bungee. Then, secure with a small bobby pin.

To add volume, pump amika Vandal Volume Powder at the base of the ponytail.

Finish the ponytail with amika Headstrong Hairspray.

Finished look.
