How-To: Sleek and Sexy

It’s a stylist’s dream—90 heads of long, lustrous hair, all ready to be coiffed to perfection and seen by millions of people all over the world. That’s the scene at Miss Universe, and this year, Global Creative Director for Farouk Systems, Patrick Kalle, was one of the stylists who got to work backstage, styling the girls the night of the big show. To help his contestants get stage-ready, Patrick chose the new Dura CHI Styling Iron, which has extra-long blades (perfect for extra-long hair), and is infused with titanium for radiant, satin-smooth styles that last all day long—through rehearsals, runway romps and even wardrobe changes. Here’s how Patrick used the Dura CHI to style Miss Poland 2014, Marcela Chmielowska.
