Formula A: Pure Light Crème Lightener + choice of PRAVANA Crème Developer

Formula B: 6 parts ChromaSilk Express Tones Clear + 2 parts ChromaSilk Express Tones Gold + 1 part ChromaSilk Express Tones Beige + a small drop of ChromaSilk Express Tones Violet

Formula C: 2 parts ChromaSilk Express Tones Clear + 1 part ChromaSilk Express Tones Beige

Beginning at the front hairline along the sides, take 3-4 horizontal-back slices, stitching off the top, and apply Formula A in foil.

Note: For this technique, the top of the head is foiled in a classic highlight technique and folded horizontally to keep out of the way for the remainder of the technique. The Blonde Wand should not be used on foils folded in this way.

At the nape, take horizontal slices, stitch off the top, backcomb and apply Formula A to the remaining strands from the top of the midshafts through the ends. Continue working up the head and in between the foils through the midshafts and ends of the remaining hair.

Note: For this portion of the technique, bend foil vertically over the strands or add another layer of foil over the top.

Apply The Blonde Wand in an elliptical motion, working up the length of the foil, decreasing the movement towards the top of each section with each pass.

Note: This will create a gradient of lightening with the lightest portion of the strand towards the ends where The Blonde Wand is more focused.

Once processing is complete throughout, shampoo and condition the hair using THE PERFECT BLONDE Purple Toning Shampoo and Conditioner. Then, beginning in the back and working up toward the apex and ears, apply Formula B to the new growth. In the remaining front hairline, apply Formula C, beginning the application at the new growth. Working from the back of the head up, pull Formula C through midshafts and ends and process for 5 minutes.
