How-To: Pulled-Back Volume

Some girls want a killer style, some girls want something a little more subtle. This pulled-back look has major volume and can be worn for any occasion. Check out how Ward Stegerhoek, Editorial Stylist and Co-Founder of Living Proof, made it happen.

HOW-TO STEPS

  • 1

Start by spraying 2-inch sections with Flex Shaping Hairspray, then curl the hair with a 1 ¼-inch iron and pin sections in place.

  • 2

Next, remove pins and deconstruct the curls, then add volume and texture by spraying Full Dry Volume Blast.

  • 3

Lift all hair up into a ponytail, holding the end. Then, gather hair closer to head and secure the ponytail with an elastic.

  • 4

Pull apart the ponytail to get the piecey look.

  • 5

Finish by spraying Full Dry Volume Blast into the ponytail to deconstruct and volumize until desired style is achieved.
