Chelsy Davy’s Royal Wedding Hairstyle

Prince Harry’s on-again girlfriend and wedding date Chelsy Davy turned heads at the royal nuptials and we learned that Jonathan Long, co-founder of Lockonego salon, was responsible for Chelsy’s ‘do. “Chelsy never usually wears her hair up, so we thought that in honor of this special occasion, we’d create an updo to keep her looking young and on-trend, but chic and glamorous all at the same time.” Jonathan, who used UNITE products to create the style, provides the complete how to.

    1

Prep clean, damp hair with Unite Boosta Spray and blow-dry sections using the Signature Large Round Brush by Lockonego for super glossy, sleek locks. Add ultra volume by taking sections and spritzing with Unite GO365 Hairspray for bounce and hold.

Tightly wrap hair around large, heated Babyliss rollers. Be sure to work in rows from the back of the head in the same direction. Allow to cool completely, then carefully unravel each section.

Gently smooth over with a Large Boar Bristle Brush by Mason & Pearson, brushing hair back from the forehead towards the nape of the neck.

Pull hair back loosely into a low ponytail and secure with a clear elastic hair-tie. Tuck the ponytail underneath at the nape of the neck and pin into place, and carefully massage the scalp with your fingertips to increase volume. Pull hair at the sides for a slightly undone, loose effect. Finish with a generous mist of hairspray for supreme hold and a touch of Unite Shina-Mist Spray for a halo. Don’t forget to top off your royal style with a stunning fascinator!
