HOW-TO STEPS

2
Create a triangle section on each side a couple of inches from the part down to the hairline to create the triangle section.
-
3
Create a three-strand braid. Once you get to the back of the head, pancake by pulling and stretching the braid, then clip it into place.
-
4
Create a three-strand braid on the other side, pancaking it out and clipping it in place.
-
5
Remove the clips and connect the two braids in the middle, securing them with an elastic.
-
6
Moving forward, split the hair into three sections, leaving some of the middle hair out. This is where you’re going to connect your knotted hairstyle to your braids.
-
7
Take the sides and drape them across the other side.
-
8
Lift the ponytail up and drape the side sections across again. Once you are on the top you can create your knot.
-
9
Take the sides underneath and create another knot. Pin the top section up with a bobby pin to get it out of the way. Take the ends underneath once more and create another knot.
-
10
Continue creating knots until you reach the ends and secure with an elastic band.
-
11
Release the top section. Then go back and curl some of the hair in the ponytail.
-
12
Add some Kenra Shine Spray to smooth any flyaways.
-
13
To finish the look and keep the style in place all day, spray Kenra Ultra Freeze 30 Ultimate Hold Hairspray.
