So in love with this color, cut AND style from Kaitlyn Brown (@hairbykaitlynbrown) of Rolland’s Beauty Bar in Emerald Coast, Fla. Kaitlyn created this look using a combination of babylights and teasy highlights, making sure to create a strong money piece in the front. Here’s her how-to.
Who Did It
1. Begin by slicing 2 to 3 back-to-back sections along the perimeter of the hairline, then micro-weave and babylight using Formula A.
2. Balayage with Formula A in ½-inch sections using the teasy highlights technique. Start in the front and move to the back of the head for stronger pops of brightness around the face and softer transitions as the color transitions to the back.
3. Process in open air for 30 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and lightly condition.
4. Comb out the hair, and apply Formula B onto all previously-lightened areas. Process for 5 to 7 minutes. Wash and style as desired.
