Starting Point: Natural Level 6 (with previous highlights)

Sectioning

1. Create a horseshoe-shaped section that starts at the corner of the eye, extends to the crown and ends at the opposite corner of the eye.

2. Separate the front from the back with a vertical parting from the horseshoe parting to the top of the ear. Repeat on the opposite side.

3. Then, divide the back equally with a vertical parting from the horseshoe parting to the center of the nape. Secure both sides.

Color Application

1. Starting in the back corner of the nape, take ¼-inch diagonal, back-to-back sections and apply Formula A using a babylights technique. Complete the back section and repeat on the opposite side. Then move to either side area and continue with the same method. Repeat on the opposite side.

2. Move to the top and use a bricklay pattern to complete the section, processing to pale yellow or up to 50 minutes. Shampoo with Color Extend Magnetics and treat hair with Redken Chemistry Extreme for dry hair.

3. Apply Formula B to the roots and blend downward using the Redken Blur Brush.

4. Apply Formula C throughout the remaining lengths, blurring where Formula C meets Formula B. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes and rinse, do not shampoo. Then, on towel-dried hair, apply pH-Bonder #2 Fiber Restorative Pre-wash Concentrate for 10 minutes, rinse and follow with Color Extend Magnetics shampoo and conditioner.
