FORMULA STEPS

1. Try a new approach to foiling! Step back and look at the hair as a whole canvas. Where do you want the most vibrancy? Where would the shadow go? Find the pivotal spot you’d like to highlight and separate the hair around it. Apply Formula A.

 

2. Zig-zag the foils up the hair, with one foil going horizontal, then the next foil on an angle and the following foil going vertical, and so on. This haphazard, zig-zag foil wrap will help you work quickly while providing abstract, watercolor like results.

 

3. Continue this freehand approach on the rest of the head.

 

4. Upon completion of your last foil, apply Formula B to the roots (zone one) of the remaining hair.

 

5. Allow to process for 30 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and lightly condition.

 

6. Towel dry the hair and apply Formula C from roots to ends and allow to process for 20 minutes.

 

7. Rinse, shampoo and condition.
