Intricate styling comes back into play. To start this season off right, we tracked down the formula for this stunning, cool-toned color melt from Anna Bianca Clark (@annabiancahair), a Sola Salon stylist in Redlands, Calif. Ready to “fall” in love? Here’s Anna’s how-to for her luscious, hair painted melt.

  • Formula A:

    Equal parts Max Lightener + 30-volume developer + Olaplex No.1

  • Formula B:

    Fashion Colours: 10g Amethyst + 10g Cobalt + 5g Clear

  • Formula C:

    Fashion Colours: 10g Hot Pink + 5g Amethyst

  • Formula D:

    10g 12SI Ultra Light Silver Blonde + 10g 2 Transform Activator

FORMULA STEPS

1. Balayage using Formula A. Process for 30 minutes, shampoo and rinse.

2. Starting from the bottom and working your way up, apply Formulas B, C and D using a color melting technique, alternating between the formulas on separate strands. Process for 15 minutes, then rinse.

3. Apply Olaplex No.2 then condition and style as desired.
