When Paige Brubeck’s client wanted to a custom purple ‘do, she turned to her Pravana VIVIDS color and mixed up this custom, amethyst blend. Here’s how she created this stunning gem-toned ombré.

  • Formula A (prelighten):

    Pravana Pure Light Power Lightener + 30-volume developer

  • Formula B (roots and midlengths):

    a Tube Pravana VIVIDS Violet

  • Formula C (midlengths and ends):

    Equal parts Pravana VIVIDS Violet +  Pravana VIVIDS Clear

FORMULA STEPS

1. Using Formula A, lift the hair twice to achieve a Level 8 all over color.

2. Then apply Formula B from the roots to the midlengths.

3. Next, apply Formula C from the midlengths to the ends, using your fingers to blend with Formula B.

4. Process for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water.
