How-To: Dusty Violet Rose
So your client tells you she wants to rock a bold color but she’s a little intimidated to wear vivids as an everyday color. Find that happy medium by giving her this muted, dusty violet rose color from Georgette Padilla (@hello_jett), a stylist at Union Salon in Pasadena, Calif. It’s the perfect color for clients who want to venture into the fashion color trend, without going full-on neon. Get the how-to!
Natural/Starting Level: “Prior to creating the dusty violet rose look, we lifted her Level 3 hair and did a dark charcoal gray,” notes Georgette. “The day of her pink appointment, she came in with an inch of her natural Level 3 hair and the charcoal gray had faded into a Level 7.5/8 with some warmth.”
Pricing: “Since I worked on prelightened hair, the price to apply the color on this length and desnsity was $130,” shares Georgette.
Who Did It
1. Apply Formula A on the roots and Formula B on the ends. “The muted effect was created simply because of the fact that it was applied on Level 7.5 hair and darker,” shares Georgette.
2. Process for 25 minutes under the Wella Professionals Climazon2. Let the hair cool for 10 minutes before shampooing.
