  • Formula A (Roots):

    Schwarzkopf Professional IGORA Vario Blond + 20-volume developer (Mix 2 parts developer to one part lightener)

  • Formula B (Banding):

    IGORA Vario Blond + 5-volume developer

  • Formula C (Lowlight):

    IGORA ROYAL 7/16 + 10-volume developer

  • Formula D (Toner):

     IGORA ROYAL 9/1 + 10-volume developer

Clean it up! Sometimes a client comes in and we have to save them from hair mishaps outside the salon—gold bands are fun for jewelry, but not for hair! Monika Quatrano’s @hairbymonika.q from Filomena Salon in Coquitlam, British Columbia, babe-of-a-client needed help with some blonde color correction, and Monika knew exactly what to do. “My application was meticulous and time consuming but it was worth every minute for this extreme transformation,” she reveals. COLOR FORMULAS

  • Formula A (Roots):

    Schwarzkopf Professional IGORA Vario Blond + 20-volume developer (Mix 2 parts developer to one part lightener)

  • Formula B (Banding):

    IGORA Vario Blond + 5-volume developer

  • Formula C (Lowlight):

    IGORA ROYAL 7/16 + 10-volume developer

  • Formula D (Toner):

     IGORA ROYAL 9/1 + 10-volume developer

FORMULA STEPS

1. Using a back-to-back foiling technique, use Formula A on the regrowth and Formula B on the area with the banding.
2. For lowlight sections, use Formula C.
3. Process for 30 minutes, lifting Formula A and Formula B foils to a Level 9.
4. Tone the hair with Formula D.
