FORMULA STEPS

  1. Starting in the front, apply Formula A and paint a full balayage. Tease each section and wrap the hair in foils, mixing a new bowl of Formula A every 30 minutes. This total balayage process should take approximately 90 minutes.
  2. Process until the hair lifts to a Level 8/9 and start removing foils from the front. As you remove foils, apply a mixture of water and Olaplex No.2 to the hair to stop the lightening process. Wipe each section with a towel, and let the rest of the balayage process for 45 minutes. Then, rinse.
  3. At the bowl, apply Olaplex No.2 and process for 5 minutes. Then, shampoo with Oligo Professionnel Blacklight Blue Shampoo and rinse.
  4. Apply Formula B to the roots, and melt into Formula B around the front of the hairline. Then, apply Formula C to the rest of the hair, weaving out small pieces and applying Formula D to those fine slices for dimension.
  5. Rinse, shampoo and condition with Matrix Biolage ColorLast Shampoo and Conditioner.
  6. Curl the hair using a BaByliss®PRO Nano Titanium 1.25-Inch Curling Iron, curling the face-framing sections away from the face and then curling every other section in the opposite direction. Apply Pureology Anti Twist Shine Texturizer and run it through the hair with your fingers, then finish with Kenra Professional Platinum Dry Texture Spray 6.
