Balayage + Highlights = FOIL-AYAGE!
When Shirin Nova’s client came into her studio Barnes&Galasso in Los Angeles, Calif. wanting to be lighter and brighter, she immediately worried about what the lighter color would do to her client’s damaged hair. That was, however, until she remembered she had a secret weapon—b3 Brazilian Bond Builder. b3 is a one-step professional tool that’s mixed into all formulations to reduce damage caused during the coloring process.
Utilizing a specially engineered co-polymer, b3 reattaches and builds the bonds that make up the cellular membrane complex, helping to prevent the loss of cuticle and cortex cells that are responsible for supporting the inner structure of the hair. With her secret weapon in hand, Shirin drew color inspiration from Julianne Hough’s short bob and multidimensional blonde hair. Here’s her “recipe” for a luscious, balayage melt.
