In this client’s previous appointment, Oana applied babylights which she says, “are great for blends but not for dimension.” That’s why she opts for a chunky weave for this dimensional look. “Choosing wide stitches and leaving behind negative spaces is my favorite technique that gives me contrast and movement,” Oana explains.

FORMULA STEPS
1. Before:
2. In foils, apply Formula A using your favorite foilayage technique with a chunky weave. Be sure to leave out pieces of the natural color in between foils.
3. Process until the desired lift is achieved and rinse.
4. Apply Formula B as a root shadow and process for a total of 35 minutes.
5. While the root shadow processes, apply Formula C to the mids and ends and process for a total of 20 minutes.
6. Rinse and style as desired. Finished look:
