2. Mini Money Piece Braids

3. Feather Hair Extensions

You love them, you hate them. They take you back to summer 2009 when “TiK ToK” was simply your fave Ke$ha song—and now, Addison Rae is bringing them straight to your client’s mood board. Feather extensions are back!

4. Rubber Band Styles

Remember when Normani invented rubber band styles (again) in her iconic “Motivation” vid?! Well, they’ve continued to be all over the FYP since. Don’t know where to start? We snagged a few pro tips from Normani’s stylist Jared Henderson (@jstayready_).

  • Use a light gel or pomade on the pieces of hair that are going into the rubber bands for a clean look.
  • Have fun with the hair left out! Here are a few ideas: ponies, silky straight, or crimped texture like Normani.
  • Spray each rubber band section with a light shine mist to make the sections pop in the sunlight at festivals.

5. ’90s Supermodel Bouncy Blowouts

Your Gen Z clients might refer to Cindy Crawford as Kaia Gerber’s mom, but they’re no doubt obsessing over her iconic bouncy blowout that frames the face. Time to bring back the Velcro rollers!

6. Sleek + Spiky Topknots

“Yearbooks are coming out. I’m gonna have to sign ‘You rock, don’t ever change’ like 800 times.” We didn’t get the Lizzie McGuire reboot we hoped for this year, but we did get clients requesting to look like our fave girl. This Y2K trend also pairs perfectly with a zig-zag parting!

11. Flippin’ Out

Flipping out the ends of a pony or half pony is a fast way to take a look from basic to baddie in seconds. Or, try flipping out bobs and lobs to add some drama to flat hair!
