Adding texture is not only on-trend, it’s sometimes absolutely necessary. So you HAVE to know how to do it. Luckily, we have a few key things to remember when creating a totally-texturized style on your male clients.
1. Why You Texturize
When your male client has natural movement, adding texture will remove excess bulkiness, enhance his waves and create a more modern-looking cut.
2. When To Texturize
The best time to texturize the hair is after you complete your cut. This allows you to analyze the hair and determine where texturizing will really help.
3. How To Texturize
If your client has a highly dense area of hair, but also has fine hair, use thinning shears on woven sections to avoid overly thinning the hair.
