Say goodbye to basic brown color and hello to a whole new world of bold and radiant brunette hues! We’re talkin’ about adding major shine and elevated reflection to your clients who are rocking even the darkest level brown. Starting Level
Natural Level 3/Darkest Brown
Midlengths and ends previously colored and faded
Color Formulas
Formula A: 1½ oz. High Impact Brunette VA (.21) + 3 oz. 20-volume MATRIX Cream Developer
Formula B: 1½ oz. High Impact Brunette VR (.26) + 3 oz. 20-volume MATRIX Cream Developer
Formula C: 1 oz. Color Sync 5VV + 1 oz. 10-volume MATRIX Cream Developer
Formula D: 1 oz. Color Sync 5VV + 1 oz. Color Sync 4RV + 10-volume MATRIX Cream Developer
Sectioning
1. Take a parting from ear to ear across the top of the head and secure the section at the back of the head. This is section 1.
2. Create a side parting, and secure the sides in the temporal regions, making sections 2 and 3.
3. Starting in section 1, take deep angled sections to create “V”-shaped subsections, clip and secure.
4. In Sections 2 and 3, create smaller “V”-shaped subsections, clip and secure.
Application
1. Starting in section 1, begin with the first subsection behind the ear, and apply Formula A to the new-growth area. In the next subsection apply Formula B to the new growth area. Repeat this method alternating Formula A and Formula B until section 1 is complete.
2. Continue to section 2. Beginning at the hairline with the first subsection, alternate Formulas A and B at the new growth area until complete. Then work in section 3, repeating the application in the same manner.
3. Return to section 1, begin with the first subsection behind the ear and apply Formula C from midlengths through the ends. In the next subsection apply Formula D through the midlengths to the ends. Continue to alternate formulas until section 1 is complete. Repeat this method in sections 2 and 3 to complete application.
4. Lastly, process accordingly at room temperature. Rinse, cleanse and condition using Matrix Biolage or Total Results™ shampoo and conditioner.
