How-To: Naturally Nude Blonde

Summer time blonde! The weather’s heating up, and you know what that means…it’s time to take it off; go nude! Noooo, not like nude nude, but a killer nude blonde! Trust us, it’ll be the most perfect beach accessory you could give her.

Created by celebrity stylist and inventor, Rick Wellman, Biolights Cotton Strips, an eco-friendly, bleed-free and gentle alternative to foiling (that Rick himself invented!). Here’s how he did it!

Formula A: IGORA ROYAL Nude Tones 12-46

Formula B: IGORA VIBRANCE Gloss & Tone 9.5-4

1. Use Formula A with a diagonal wrap focused around the face, and trickling towards the back, using Biolights Cotton Strips in place of foil. “20 strips were used for this look,” says Rick. “The wrap took 20 minutes.”

2. Process for 30 minutes, and then shampoo.

3. Apply Formula B all over and let sit for 10 minutes. “This combo of technique and formula creates detailed yet beautifully blended warm neutral strands of dimension along with giving the client a new and gentle highlighting experience,” adds Rick.
