George Papanikolas’ Favorite Bronde Formulas
Bronde is 2017’s hottest color. Not too light and not too dark, this seasonless shade is just right for any client. That’s why supermodel Gigi Hadid (we have her color formula!) is among some of the hottest A-listers feeling the bronde effect. But your client doesn’t have to be a supermodel to own this color.
“What makes this universally flattering, is that you can adjust the tone to warm or cool depending on your client’s skin tone, and still get the Bronde effect,” shares celebrity stylist George Papanikolas. Here are George’s three favorite bronde color formulas, and since he’s worked with everyone from Hailey Baldwin to Hannah Davis, we know we can trust his creative eye! Check ’em out.
Gigi Hadid’s Bronde Color Formula
Matrix Color Formulas
Formula A (base): Color Sync 7AG + 10-volume Matrix Cream Developer
Formula B (balayage/highlights): Matrix Light Master + 40-volume Matrix Cream Developer
Formula C (gloss): Color Sync ½ Clear + ½ 9N
How-To: Neutral Bronde

Formula A (base): Color Sync 6N + 10-volume Matrix Cream Developer
Formula B (balayage/highlights): Matrix Light Master + 40-volume Matrix Cream Developer
Formula C (gloss): Color Sync ½ 9N + ½ 10G + 10-volume Matrix Cream Developer
Application
1. Apply Formula A to base for 20 minutes, then rinse.
2. Balayage and highlight using Formula B, lifting to a golden blonde.
3. Gloss with Formula C for 5 minutes.
