“Encouragement is food for your soul.” These are words Fabio Sementilli, globally-recognized hairdresser, industry icon and Coty Professional Beauty Vice President of Education, lived by. While the industry still mourns his passing, the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation has created a way for hairdressers to honor Fabio and give back to the profession he loved so dearly: the Fabio Sementilli Professional Mentorship Scholarship.
Known for his incredible mentorship and leadership, Fabio changed lives for thousands of hairstylists around the globe. The Fabio Sementilli Professional Mentorship Scholarship honors his example of professional development throughout a hairstylist’s career journey. Here are the details:
- Beauty pros who have been in the industry for between 1 and 3 years can apply for advanced education programming at top-rated academies.
- The scholarship spans the industry—it’s open to nail pros, cosmetologists and barbers.
- It’s not tied to any brand, so scholarship recipients can choose from course offerings that span the spectrum of manufacturers.
