2 Quick Barbering Tips From Mark Bustos

Mark Bustos (@markbustos)—a stylist at the upscale Three Squares Studio in NYC and founder of #BeAwesomeToSomebody—took the BTC stage at Premiere Orlando 2017 to demo some of his popular men’s grooming styles, including a fresh cut on our very own Kevin Givens! Everyone loves a quick tip to bring back with them to the salon, so here’s two!

1. When working scissor-over-comb, a lot of people like to hold the comb with the teeth facing away from the head,” says Mark. “I like to hold the comb so the teeth are facing the head because then I use the spine of the comb as my guideline, which creates cleaner sections.”
