Pravana’s new NEVO line is all about caring. Caring for hair, caring for life and caring for the earth.  “We wanted to create a hair care collection that goes beyond personal beauty and extends to the beautification of our planet and well-being of the people on it,” says Pravana President Steve Goddard. To that note, NEVO consists of 100% vegan shampoos and conditioners as well as three treatments: a deep conditioner, a color lock leave-in and an oil.

Each product in the NEVO collection contains Pravana’s exclusive Drops of the Amazon™—a natural complex designed to nurture, protect and preserve the surface of hair with three vital ingredients derived from some of the most resilient plants found in the Amazon: Mulateiro Extract, Babassu Oil and Brazil Nut Oil. Plus, every NEVO product comes in 100% biodegradable packaging. To date, approximately 25% of the volume of U.S. landfills is comprised of plastic bottles, which will remain there for as long as 1,000 years. NEVO’s new biodegradable plastic begins to breakdown within 250 days of being placed in a landfill.

All NEVO products are free of Sulfates, Parabens, Sodium Chloride, Phthalates, Gluten, Propylene Glycol, Cocamide DEA, Cocamide MEA, animal bi-products and animal testing.

Finally, in an effort to fight cancer, Pravana will donate 5% of the sale to distributors of all NEVO products with a minimum donation of $25,000 to City of Hope through October 31, 2013.
