Kenra Professional Artist David Lopez Joins Ulta Beauty Pro Team

Congrats to David Lopez, aka @davidlopezzz to his 39k+ Insta followers, on joining the Ulta Beauty Pro Team! As a top celebrity hairstylist and Kenra Professional Artist, David brings years of experience in hairstyling and expertise in nongendered self-care.

After being trained in the French technique of haircutting, David built his career working with a number of brands and in top salons in New York City. A master behind the chair and in front of the camera, David strives to keep his perspective on beauty personalized, authentic and knowledgeable—just ask his celebrity clients Ashley Graham, Chrissy Teigen and Anne Hathaway.

David also brings his passion for inclusivity to Ulta Beauty, and the belief that beauty is for everyone—regardless of gender, age or ethnicity. He strives to showcase the ways in which beauty is inclusive within his work, and will partner with the Pro Team to continue to provide a welcoming environment for all of Ulta Beauty’s stylists and guests.

The Ulta Beauty Pro Team was established in May 2017 and is a group of artists and educators from some of the industry’s top professional haircare brands with more than 100 years of combined experience. David will work closely with Nick Stenson, Ulta Beauty’s Vice President of Salon Services and Trend, as well as Ammon Carver, Ulta Beauty’s Chief Artistic Director, along with the other members of the Pro Team—Sonya Dove, Sean Godard, Carmody Homan, Pekela Riley and Danielle Keasling—in supporting the company’s efforts in trend and stylist development.
