What Is The Kenra Detox & Deflect System?

Kenra Platinum just released the Detox & Deflect System—the first pro hair system that clarifies hair from daily pollutants and protect hair from future pollutants. The system (an intense weekly scrub, daily shampoo and conditioner, and a daily medium-hold hairspray) contain activated charcoal to detoxify and diamond dust to deflect pollutants.

The Pollution Room

We entered the Pollution Room first, where pollution smoke enveloped us and we learned about the negative effects pollution has on the hair (with actual samples in petri dishes! #science).

The Charcoal Room

Next we entered the Charcoal Room, with hand-carved charcoal walls, where we learned how activated charcoal detoxifies the hair from everyday pollutants. Think about activated charcoal masks popular in skincare right now—same idea, but for your hair! We also used a microscope to examine the pollution on our OWN hair!

The Deep Detox Scrub Room

We had a BALL in this room…because we fell into a giant ball pit! Here we learned how the intense weekly clarifying scrub contains eco-friendly scrubbing beads to renew hair’s natural radiance and draw out pollutants, dulling impurities and product buildup.

The Diamond Room

Diamonds are a hairdresser’s best friend…especially when you get to sit on a diamond throne! Here we learned how precious diamond dust (the key ingredient in the shampoo, conditioner and spray) deflects everyday pollutants.

The Diamond Deflect Spray 10 Room

A HUGE (seriously life-sized) bottle of Diamond Deflect 10 Spray greeted us in this room, where we learned how diamond dust in the spray protects everyday styles. Can you say LIT?!
