Schwarzkopf Professional just announced celebrity colorist Jack Howard as its new Global BLONDME Brand Ambassador. Jack brings his passion for blondes and status as a world-renowned haircolorist to his new role.

“It is a real honor to join one of the fastest growing, dynamic color brands, covering blonde hair needs in the role of Global BLONDME Ambassador,” shares Jack.

Referred to as the “King of Balayage,” Jack has trained hairdressers in the art of balayage all over the world and works with celebs like Poppy Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse and Gillian Anderson. His work has also been published in Vogue, Tatler, Harpers and the Evening Standard and he was recently named Marie Claire Hair Colorist of the Year 2018.

Schwarzkopf Professional is looking to combine his blonde expertise with BLONDME so the brand focus on balayage techniques in 2019.

“It is wonderful to welcome real talent to the growing world of Schwarzkopf Professional,” says Simon Ellis, Schwarzkopf Professional Creative Director. “Jack Howard is a true color master and his experience and creativity will bring a new dimension to the world of BLONDME—our fastest growing color brand dedicated to blonde hair needs.”

Throughout his career, Jack has developed four signature balayage styles, which focus on using negative space to create depth and dimension:

  • Classic — An everyday freehand highlighting technique for a range of softer looks with low-maintenance and subtle regrowth.
  • Creative — Working with a client’s specific haircut and style to create bespoke contrast and depth.
  • Micro Balayage — For clients looking for a more intense highlighted look.
  • California — A heavier take on the classic, where more of the hair is colored with varying tones and roots are left looking lived-in.
