PRAVANA ANNOUNCES SHOW US YOUR ARTISTRY 2020 CONTEST

PRAVANA’s annual SHOW US YOUR ARTISTRY contest is back! We all know 2020 has brought about many unforeseen challenges for this industry, so this year things will be a little different. In honor of these unprecedented times and social-distancing, PRAVANA is eliminating the need for live models and making this a mannequin-only competition! How do I enter?

  • Submit an entry by posting an Instagram grid post between Oct. 26-Nov. 6, 2020.
  • Valid entries must tag @PRAVANA, #PRAVANA, #SUYA2020, and #SUYA2020category mentioned above.
  • Stylists may enter as many times and in many categories as they’d like but can only place in each category once.
  • Entries must be on a mannequin, but extensions and hair pieces are welcome.

 

Who can enter?

Stylists around the world can also enter! SHOW US YOUR ARTISTRY 2020 will be open to the following countries: Australia, Canada (including Quebec) and Thailand, as well as the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico.

 

What are the categories?

  • VIVIDS– create an inspiring look using a minimum of one ChromaSilk VIVIDS, NEONS or PASTELS shade #SUYA2020VIVIDS
  • ChromaSilk – bring permanent and demi-permanent colors to life using a minimum of one ChromaSilk Permanent Creme Hair Color, VIVIDS Everlasting, ColorLush or Express Tones shade #SUYA2020CHROMASILK
  • PURE LIGHT – Lighten up by using any PRAVANA PURE LIGHT lighteners #SUYA2020PURELIGHT
  • Texture – Show off those twists and turns using any PRAVANA color product while showcasing natural or artificial bend to the hair #SUYA2020TEXTURE
  • Video – Capture the journey and tell a story about the finished look in one minute or less #SUYA2020VIDEO

 

What are the prizes?

This year’s SHOW US YOUR ARTISTRY contest will feature five categories with first, second, and third place winners in each category, and the first place winners of each category will be entered to win the grand prize. The Grand Prize Winner will take home a total of $5,000 USD and the title! The cash prizes include:

  • 3rd place– $500 USD
  • 2nd place – $1,000 USD
  • 1st place– $2,000 USD
  • GRAND PRIZE– an additional $3,000 USD!

 

When will the winners be announced?

This year’s judging panel includes experts from PRAVANA, Pivot Point, BehindtheChair.com, and more. The SHOW US YOUR ARTISTRY 2020 winners will be announced in early December and featured on PRAVANA’s social media platforms.
