L’ANZA Appoints Ludovic Beckers As international Artistic Director

Ludovic Beckers Is L’ANZA’s New International Artistic Director

L’ANZA Healing Haircare just announced the addition of renowned hairstylist and educator Ludovic Beckers (@ludovicbeckers) as International Artistic Director. He joins the award-winning L’ANZA Education Team in a newly created position within the L’ANZA Healing Artist network. Ludovic brings over 20 years of styling and education experience to his new role, which will focus on precision cutting and inspirational hair design education.

“Finding L’ANZA was a wonderful discovery”, says Ludovic. “I am looking forward to exploring new creative places while sharing my knowledge and passion for design.”

From the early days at his mother’s salon to an award-winning platform artist and educator, Ludovic has been a creative force throughout Europe. Hailing from the Flemish part of Belgium, known as the “Lowlands,” he quickly developed a reputation for technical, interactive shows guaranteed to inspire a crowd. Since beginning his career in the 1990s, Ludovic has led teams in many of the world’s most vibrant cities, sharing stages with industry icons like Angelo Seminara, Mazella & Partners and the Sassoon team. 

Ludovic has participated in hundreds of hair competitions and has earned over 100 industry awards from Germany, Belgium and France—taking trophies in Haircutting, Salon Team, Avant-Garde and Hair Color. In 2010, he took his passion for cutting into product development to launch Curve-O, a brand of ergonomic tools currently used by over 250,000 stylists around the world. 

“I am grateful and honored to have Ludovic join and help lead our network of international L’ANZA Healing Artists,” says L’ANZA CEO David Berglass. “His talent and passion will be immediately felt.
