JPMS Is Helping Salons With A $4 Million “Stimulus Plan”

John Paul Mitchell Systems (JPMS) introduced the JPMS Salon Jumpstart Stimulus, a $4 million plan designed to support hairdressers and salons. This two-part program will help salons ease financial strain, maintain a deep sense of community and rebound quickly once they reopen.

Here’s What You Need To Know:

  • The plan includes free haircolor and back-bar product, plus enhanced education and digital support for participating salons to help get the brand’s partners back on their feet as quickly as possible.

  •  JPMS will work with the government and the salon community to review their re-opening strategies to ensure their partners have proper safety procedures in place and support for a safe and successful re-opening. A Back To Work Safety Guide and other resources will be provided to beauty professionals via the brand’s new Covid-19 resource hub on its pro website here.

  • Look for a new social platform on paulmitchellpro.com, Social Gathering, launching soon. It will be a digital social place for salon professionals to engage and connect around a variety of current topics and shared content that will serve as a communication hub for new ideas, trends and experiences.

“Since day one, our salon partners have been the heart of everything we do. With that, we have shifted our focus for 2020 to protecting our industry by supporting our most valuable partners: salons and stylists,” shared Michaeline DeJoria, Vice Chairman of JPMS. “We are working to provide support for our global partners, while also working to generate awareness around the need to rally behind your local salon professionals during these unprecedented times.”

“Our Salon Jumpstart Stimulus will support the community now and lay the groundwork for future success. We’re providing necessities so that our JPMS salons can rebuild cashflow upon reopening, along with free ongoing education and business planning. This plan should help ensure that our most loyal customers are in a position to come back stronger,” shared Jason Yates, Chief Operating Officer of JPMS.

The brand is also offering free weekly education on their Instagram and Facebook. Classes will be led by various JPMS network professionals, including business coaches, artistic directors, international trainers and national educators, highlighting what they do best through inspirational stories, business building ideas and artistic inspiration.
