Matrix Artists Get Exclusive Invite To Style Hair At Burning Man Festival
When you get invited to Burning Man, the annual week-long arts festival in the middle of the Nevada desert, you take a step away from reality and just go. From sunrise parties on “the playa” to a sea of experimental art installations, Instagram models and free-spirited artist families run alike in this “temporary community.”

So, when Matrix exclusively sponsored Miami-based salon Junior & Hatter (@juniorandhatter) to send their artists to Burning Man as a salon team, they journeyed to an experience like nothing they’ve seen before. And they brought their hairdresser creativity, craft and gift of touch to the art-inspired community.

What did we spot all over the desert?! Ribbons of color and braids for days. 

Junior & Hatter knows how to play with color. They are the official flagship salon for Matrix SOCOLOR CULT, and their work at Burning Man embodied themes like “Braid Ambush” and “Freedom Of Style” on the playa. Oh, and the team also styled the hair for a wedding that included Spike Jonze…proof that ANYTHING can go down under the desert sun.
