Matrix is excited to announce the top 10 winners in the FERGIExMATRIX SOCOLOR Cult social media contest!

The contest, which was first announced in January at the brand’s Matrix Destination 2018 event, invited stylists across the country to create an eye-popping and innovative vibrant color for a chance to work alongside a Matrix celebrity stylist while backstage at a Fergie concert this summer. (Fergie was the brands first SOCOLOR Cult Icon.) Hairstylists submitted their designs via Instagram tagging #SOCOLORCULT and #FERGIExMATRIX, along with a caption explaining why they should be chosen to win.

The top 30 finalists, who were announced in April, participated in a phone interview with members of the Matrix education team, who then narrowed the list of winners down to 10.

The two grand prize winners will be working alongside Matrix Celebrity Stylists George Papanikolas and Nick Stenson to color and style Fergie herself, while the eight first prize winners will work to style her dancers, band members and/or other celebrity guests.
