BREAKING NEWS: 2020 Color & Style Trophy Award Winners Announced!

BTC spent the weekend at the L’Oréal Professionnel Color & Style Trophy Awards at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey, Calif. Here’s what went down: LIVE hair competitions were held in front of industry influencers and professionals where artists had a chance to win awards in seven different categories. We had a backstage access to the action and a front-row seat at the awards ceremony, so keep reading for all of the winning artists! 

The Color & Style Trophy Awards

Artistic teams—made up of colorists, cutters, stylists, makeup artists and wardrobe specialists—are encouraged to create complete looks that are judged by some of the industry’s biggest names! Looks are critiqued on color placement, cut and finish in each of the categories: Editorial, Texture, Future Trend and Overall Winner.

Winning Prizes

First place winners receive a $500 L’Oréal Professionnel Academy Class voucher, their winning look featured on both the Color & Style Trophy website and the L’Oréal Professionnel website and recognition on social media. In addition to these prizes, the Overall Winner will gets the chance to compete in the Global Color & Style Finals in 2020!
