What a weekend it has been! I got to be a part of America’s Beauty Show in Chicago with my Ulta Beauty family for the second year! It’s amazing to see our growth in just one year! On Sunday night me and @myguiltycrown put a show for @beautychangeslives, what a success it was! We were mentored by the best out there @ammoncarver ❤️ I can’t wait to see what’s next!

What is the Ulta Beauty Design Team?

Being a part of the Ulta Beauty Design Team means acting as an Ulta brand ambassador as well as creating beautiful hair for clients at an Ulta salon. Members of the Design Team work with members of the Ulta Pro Team on imagery and campaigns for Ulta stores and shows and educate at Ulta events around the country. And who wouldn’t want to work closely with such an incredible Pro Team! @ammoncarver, @danielle.keasling, @seangodard, @davidlopezzz, @sonyadove, @pekelariley, @carmodyhoman and @deney_adam, led by VP of Salon Services & Trend @nickstenson, just took home the 2019 #ONESHOT Big Shot North America Editorial Collection of the Year! Plus, Design Team members get training for on-camera appearances and social media help.

Our Ulta Beauty Design Team are appropriately nicknamed our “heart soldiers” because they are responsible for bringing awareness, credibility and our “be-yourself” culture to the hearts of beauty professionals everywhere. Watching them grow over the past two years has been one of the proudest parts of my career. What qualifications do I need to have to be on the Ulta Beauty Design Team?

Besides being licensed in your state, Ulta Beauty requires you to have at least 5 years of creative experience. It’s also a plus to have some education experience, and you should be comfortable speaking in front of people. Plus, you’ll need to be able to travel to represent Ulta Beauty across the country!
