amika Announces 2025 Visionaries: Meet the New Stylist Collective
A Hand-Selected Team of Top Pro Stylists Shaping Hair Artistry & Education
amika is celebrating the expansion of the amika Stylist Collective—10 hand-selected, elite hairstylists redefining hair artistry and education. These industry leaders will play a pivotal role in shaping amika’s education programs, ideating classes and creating innovative content.
“The Stylist Collective has made an instrumental impact on creating a deeper connection between our brand and the pro community, building upon our promise of being a friend to all,” says Chelsea Riggs, amika CEO and Founding Member. “As we expand the program in 2025, we remain deeply committed to supporting and uplifting hairstylists, who have always been at the heart of everything we do. We’re incredibly grateful to do that with these talented stylists who share our mission.”
Meet the joining members:
- Abbey Brookee (@abbeybrookee): Internationally recognized for her red hair transformations, luxury balayage and extensions.
- Clayton Hawkins (@claytonhawkins): A master of wigs, extensions and total transformations.
- Eric Vaughn (@realericvaughn): Known for his luxury transformations and bombshell blowouts, Eric is a salon owner and expert educator who blends modern and classic styles through cuts, color and extensions.
- Glen Oropeza (@glencocoforhair): A hairstylist known for his creative approach and presence in Hollywood’s beauty scene.
- Kendra Alia (@iamkendraalia): Owner of Salon Her Inc and Salon Her Institute, she is an educator dedicated to supporting the next generation of stylists through her online classes and techniques.
- Pekela Riley (@pekelariley): An award-winning celebrity stylist, advocate and educator.
- Sal Salcedo (@salsalhair): Known for his signature LA “It Girl” layers and textured haircuts, Sal has spent over two decades specializing in transformative cuts and styles. Using hair as a medium for expression and creativity, he brings a modern, effortless edge to every look he creates.
- Marissa Marino (@marissa.marino): Trained by industry expert Ken Paves (@kenpaves), Marissa is a stylist known for bringing her clients’ visions to life with precision and creativity.
- Sharon Spellman (@sharon.simplyinsane): A digital creator, Sharon engages audiences on TikTok and Instagram with authenticity, humor and hairstyling expertise.
- Maggie Hancock (@maggiemh): Colorist and Salon owner based in Scottsdale, Ariz., Maggie has extensive experience in social media and education within the beauty industry.
