

Nail Tech Instructor/Cosmetology Instructor
Nail technician instructors must have extensive, first-hand knowledge and experience in proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices.
Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology of cells, tissues, nail structure and growth, diseases and disorders, chemistry and electricity as they relate to a nail technician.
Knowledge and skills of the current industry trends and services.
knowledge and skills regarding basic and advanced manicure and pedicure set-up and procedures, massage techniques, proper use of products and instruments/equipment.
Experience in acrylic applications, sculpture nails, gel nail application, nail tip application, filing techniques, and nail wraps.
Be creative, fun, and outgoing with experience in all nail techniques, nail enhancements, nail art and advanced nail services.
Instructors should have excellent communication and organization skills and be able to appropriately assess students’ progress and take the necessary steps to ensure their complete and effective education.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a licensed Nail Technician in a salon. Must have a current PA Cosmetology Teacher License Must be able to work at least three days a week 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. (classes are scheduled 8:30-4:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday). Full time and part time work available.
