Our ideal candidate will listen to a client’s desires and provide them with the most suitable and expert services. This candidate should be knowledgeable of how to improve natural hair health and texture to suit a client’s needs. They are expected to have a broad understanding of current fashion trends and a willingness to learn those we have not yet encountered. Our goal is to achieve maximum client satisfaction in order to drive long-term success for both our business and for our stylists – We emphasize personal and professional growth, while preserving a comfortable work/life balance.

Some responsibilities include:

Conversing with a diverse range of clients to better understand their hair requirements.
Making suggestions to improve clients’ looks.
Cutting, coloring, styling, and balayage-ing experience. Razor cutting is a plus!
Retail product knowledge, and how to suggest/sell them to clients as needed.
Ensuring all tools and equipment are maintained to comply with health and safety standards.
Some qualifications include:

High school diploma or GED; Successful attendance and license from cosmetology school.
Proven experience as a hair stylist (2+ years, preferred).
Working knowledge of all aspects of cosmetology.
Great physical stamina.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Up-to-date with fashion and beauty trends; Great personal style.
