Mission: to manage/ mentor all stylists & employees, as well as help create a salon-wide goal and strategy
Role: The Managing Partner/ Lead Stylist is accountable for establishing strategic objectives and goals, supervising day-to-day activities, checking performance, and driving salon development. A prosperous Managing Partner should have the ability to purposefully guide business operations as well as employees to achieve salon objectives and goals.
Authority: Leading and Supervising Team, as well as day-to-day decision making upon strategies. Oversee personnel including receptionist, hourly staff, and independent contractor employees.
You will lead the hiring process, training and team performance management. Evaluate salon performance and ensure compliance with health and safety rules
Responsibility: Maintaining good client relationships and bringing new client acquisitions with the support of a marketing budget. Identifying improvement gaps and using remedial measures.
Market yourself and Salon! Former experience as Master Stylist, Owner or Manager (including styling, cutting, coloring, and knowledge of hair extensions) Provide quality customer services and maintain high standard of professionalism Follow safety, sanitation, and health standards. Adhere to salon policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency. Assist junior stylists in their job duties, mentor and manage. Maintain workstations (Clean and sterilize hair care tools regularly) follow all safety protocols salon has in place for the health and safety of our clients and employees post Covid-19. Meet and exceed all individual sales and productivity goals and perform services within allotted time Attend all company educational events, trainings and meetings Adhere to the brands standards for guest service, cleanliness, dress code and more Balayage Specialist a plus Valid Cosmetology license (management will help obtain florida license if from outside of state) Proficient with latest salon trends and techniques Proficient with use of equipment needed to perform service(s) Developed communication skills Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment, and to build and maintain customer relationships
