Plaited Waves

Pin straight hair and almost-curls don’t cut it these days. Clients want modern textures that go beyond ordinary—coiled, crimped and positively glorious. The Aveda team turned out expressive, intricate textures in their latest collection called Rare Bloom, and they created each of them with a variety of ingenious texturizing tricks. Here is how Ricardo Dinis, Aveda Global Artistic Director, Hair Cutting, created soft, glam waves!
